Old Elvet and Waterside

The University is intending to withdraw from the buildings (and extensive gardens, partly reused for car parking) that it occupies on the north side of Old Elvet while the City Council is seeking to relocate the existing swimming pool, creating two linked opportunities for new development and an important transformation of the public realm.

The City Council and University are jointly promoting a redevelopment strategy for the site.
